Nitish Kumar's proposal on reservation with security:

New Delhi, 7 November 2023: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday proposed to increase the reservation in his state. He has introduced an important resolution in the Assembly under which the scope of reservation for the existing reserved classes will be increased to 7 per cent.
Nitish Kumar has described the proposal as a step towards security and social justice, and an attempt to promote the classes towards prosperity through reservation.
"We have to take steps towards social and economic justice in the society. By increasing reservation, we are taking steps to reduce social inequality."
Along with this proposal, it is also being considered in the direction of security regarding reservation. Nitish Kumar highlighted the importance of reservation in the matter of security and considered it an important step.
This proposal will stimulate a wider discussion on the issue of reservation and we will all be waiting to see what will happen as a result of Nitish Kumar's move.
